I saw the sun today.

I saw blue today.

And I felt loved today.

Oh, it's been so long. Too long since I've felt that warmth. I know that the sun is there -- that He's there, but I forget how it feels.

Dear God, stay here with me.

And I've been too tired for life. Buried under the earth. 

I've missed more now than ever.

And it just tears you apart, you know? It gets worse day after day. 

It's been too long since I've looked into your eyes.

So I've been praying hard. And talking to my best friends every chance I get. But those aren't that helpful, you know. It makes the tear bigger with every goodbye. 

God be with you.

I haven't had the time to do what I've wanted to do for awhile. It's the end of the school year which means school school school. And it's just piles and piles of dirt along with the rain falling. So I'm packed in the earth tight. 

But I rose out of that dirt.

And I felt the sun and saw the blue underneath the gray.

Dear God, stay here with me. 

A raw raw body. A broken soul.

But the light finally shone on in. Broken open so that the light may flood in. 

And it felt better than I ever could have thought.

Ye of little faith.

Why did you doubt.

Oh my Father. 

I'm sorry. 

stay here with me. 

it's been too long. 

i've missed you.

stay.
