running

HANNAH JOY SENT ME THIS HAHA


They didn’t believe me when I told them I was going to do it
When I told them I was going to run if my life depended on it
Because there’s one thing I’m running for
One thing that makes my lungs breathe and my heart beat

I could feel the wind rush past my ears
I could feel the adrenaline running through my veins
All of it mixed together made my soul sing
Made my feet fly faster

The sky zoomed past as my feet carried me
The train beneath me hummed
I felt alive and free
Running to what would make all of this worth it

Then I saw the one thing I was searching for
I took a deep breath in and then dived off the train
My body groaned and pain shot up my arm
But I made it

It was soft in my calloused hands
I could feel it calling out to me
And oh, I could hear angels sing as I took a bite
Out of that delicious, amazing, wonderful cheeseburger

    *snort* I was reading along like "Haaaaai this is actually pretty good!" and then BOOM CHEESEBURGER and I just went "HAAAAR" really loudly and my sister eyeballed me over the top of her computer and now I feel stupid.
