spring evening




i tie hearts with ribbons of blossoms,
saying how sorry i am.
grace sets in my diaphragm,
and every breath is touched with love.

cerulean eyes, iris holding the light,
capturing this spring evening.
your smile in my mind beaming.
too soon i'll say goodbye and go.

barefoot and spectacular,
we take on laughing with enthusiasm.
mercy like a rocket has him,
and we are caught off guard.

nothing but heaven yonder and everything to ponder.
