i was doing okay
i was staring at her from across the table
and i said something about her tongue
i burst out laughing and she was just amused at me
then i laughed too hard
too fast
too soon.
because the tears that you try to hold back
the ones that try to hide behind laughter
the ones that scream of goodbyes
those come rushing.
too hard
too fast
too soon.
it hurt and i couldn't stop it.
the last conversation for awhile.
the last look in her eyes.
the last hug.
the last.
last.
goodbyes come too hard
too fast
too soon
i already miss her. i miss them. i miss hearing her laughter from across the room. i miss hearing her words flow from the heart. i miss a hand to hold when i need it. i miss everything and nothing and more.
i don't understand

p.s. i'm going camping. this time with my fam. i'll be back by the end of the week, i think.
