A Memory

 https://www.pinterest.com/pin/374502525240109877/

He was a grey-eyed thief
She was a hazel-eyed photographer
He always managed to dodge the camera
But she didn't mind

Some memories didn't belong in pictures
Some memories stayed in your heart
They'd shoot across the sky and never return
You'd always remember them

That was all they were
A memory

But the thief didn't mind
As long as the hazel-eyed girl was beside him

She was his moon
And he was her sun

They didn't notice the trail of
stardust and sunlight
that they left when they were

And only a few people noticed it.
Like the blond-haired boy who smelled of metal and forgotten books.

  1. This is so good. *shivers*

Whenever you post, it's like... day = made. It's almost as if you're sitting right beside me laughing over something dumb I said and spewing lines of poetry with your breathing.

I just want you to know how thankful I am that you are you and that you don't mind being around a silly girl like me. Because friends are crazy awesome.

    *hug*

    1. oh, honey, i just read your previous post and trust me, i feel you. i read through every single word, and you just condensed whatever i have been feeling in the past few weeks into words. you are a copy, yes, but you are a copy of the image of our Father. if it helps, think of it in this way, we are all broken people, who had our lives shattered and picked up and shattered again. we are all raw, hurting people, who look too much to ourselves and not enough to God. think about yourself like the moon. you're the sun of night, a image, a copy of the sun, that exists to reflect the true Son. i know i'm probably not making sense because i'm rambling and everything is just coming out, but please don't look at your writing and go "ew," because it has blessed me so, so much. and God has given you a talent for a reason. inspiration is drawn from everywhere, everyone, everything.
(i hope you don't mind me commenting here about your previous post)
      xxx.
