i care




these are from a trip in 2014. right now Colorado is being drowned in snow. 


i let a piece of my heart slip.
i'm good at that, you know.

i care about things a lot...
a lot more than people think i do.
i'm not all cute things and shoulder shrugs.
i'm not all talking and laughing.

so this is a shoutout to you --
the one who stopped to be honest. 
the one who let herself cry about the hard things.
the one who told me about their day.

the one who cared enough
to tell me.

it means more than you'll ever

know.
